Julianne Johnston is an Assistant United States Attorney at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia.  She currently holds a senior assignment in the Domestic Violence and Sex Offense Section, where she investigates and prosecutes felony sexual abuse cases involving both adult and child victims.

Following graduation, Professor Johnston clerked for the Honorable J. Frederick Motz on the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, and the Honorable Thomas L. Ambro on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.  She then joined Williams and Connolly LLP, where her work focused on civil and criminal litigation.

She graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, and received her B.S., summa cum laude, from Vanderbilt University.
