Rachel Strong is the Assistant Dean for Clinical and Practicum Programs. She joined the Law Center in 2011 and is responsible for administering the clinical programs and developing the curriculum of the practicum programs. She also coordinates the pro bono program. Prior to her arrival at the Law Center, Ms. Strong was in private practice at Howrey LLP, first as an associate in the commercial litigation group and then as the Pro Bono Partner from 1999 to 2011. As Pro Bono Partner, she oversaw the worldwide pro bono program and represented clients in various matters, including adoption, custody, domestic violence, immigration, civil rights, and social security. Her area of specialty was representing clients seeking asylum and other forms of immigration relief. She supervised other attorneys representing asylum seekers or directly represented asylum seekers in over 100 cases.
