John D. Taurman

A.B. magna cum laude, Duke University; J.D. cum laude, Harvard (Editor, Harvard Law Review). Professor Taurman is of counsel in the litigation section of Vinson & Elkins LLP. He has practiced commercial litigation for over fortyyears, with an emphasis on antitrust, patent, and contract cases. His specialty is constructing and defending against claims for monetary relief, and he has presented and cross-examined dozens of damages experts (economists, statisticians, accountants, actuaries, law professors, among others) in numerous trials and arbitrations for plaintiffs and defendants. He has also authored articles on lost profits and reasonable royalties.
