Continue ReadingDr. Tirosh teaches labor and employment law, jurisprudence, antidiscrimination, gender and law, and food law at Tel Aviv University. She wrote her doctoral dissertation at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and earned her first degree from The Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Tirosh clerked for Israel’s High Court of Justice, and served as a Hauser Scholar at New York University Law School. She writes on affirmative action, legal regulation of physical appearance, antidiscrimination law, and law and culture. Her article The Right to be Fat is forthcoming at Yale Journal of Health Policy, Law, and Ethics. Dr. Tirosh also does voluntary work as an activist in several human rights and women’s rights NGOs in Israel.
