Continue ReadingProfessor Zieve is the director of Public Citizen Litigation Group and the general counsel of Public Citizen, a not-for-profit membership organization devoted to research, advocacy, and education on a wide range of public health and consumer safety issues. Among other areas, Professor Zieve's practice includes administrative law, with an emphasis on food and drug law; open government; and federal preemption. Professor Zieve litigates cases in federal and state courts, at the trial, appellate, and supreme court levels, and she has argued four cases before the U.S. Supreme Court. She previously taught Appellate Courts and Advocacy as an adjunct professor at American University's Washington College of Law. Professor Zieve has written articles for Regulatory Affairs Journal (UK), TRIAL Magazine, and various BNA legal publications. She is a graduate of Brown University and Yale Law School.
