B.S., Ohio State University; Ph.D., Florida State University; J.D. with high honors, George Washington. Professor Chambers is a partner at Porzio Bromberg & Newman specializing in the area of Intellectual Property. Prior to his current position, Professor Chambers was an Associate Solicitor in the Patent and Trademark Office (PTO), where he handled general legal matters as well as appeals from the agency to the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and District Courts involving biotechnology, chemistry, and drug term extension. Professor Chambers clerked for the Honorable Judge Randall R. Rader at the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Prior to the clerkship, he was a patent examiner at the PTO. His doctorate is in Molecular Biophysics and he was a Senior Staff Scientist at the National Institutes of Health. Professor Chambers is also an adjunct faculty member at the George Washington University Law School and Catholic University Law School.
